It is your responsibility to be fire safe when camping! Before you go, check to see if there are fire bans in place where you plan to visit. http://www.albertafirebans.ca/ has the latest information on fire bans.
Obey all fire bans!
When a fire ban is in effect:
- Any wood, briquette and propane/natural gas fire is prohibited. This includes fires contained in designated fire facilities.
- Use of propane campfires (portable fire pits) is not permitted.
- Gas/Propane stoves and BBQs approved for cooking are permitted.
