<br>Lillian Lake Backcountry Campground is closed until August 4, 2017. Bear resistant storage lockers and other campground facilities which were damaged in an avalanche are being repaired.Of the 15 sites at Lillian Lake, 9 are raised wooden tent pads equipped with cables and hooks to attached your tent and fly. The cables slide and can be tightened. Click on the images of the tents on raised pads at right to see them in action.

This large prairie campground is in Little Bow Provincial Park, 20 km south of Vulcan on Hwy. 23, 16 km east on Hwy. 529 and 1 km south on an access road. There are both unserviced and powered sites, suitable for RVs and tents. Trees throughout the campground provide some refreshing shade. The breezy reservoir is perfect for sailing and wind surfing. This waterfront campground is in Little Bow Reservoir Provincial Recreation Area, 20 km south of Vulcan on Hwy. 23, 35 km east on Hwy. 529, 5 km on Hwy 845 and 0.5 km on TWP 144. This prairie campground is all about the water. Many of the sites back on to the reservoir, and trees provide some shade. Fish for pike, canoe, water ski, swim, or watch the many different species of birds that stop here. Little Bow Reservoir Provincial Recreation Area is OPEN for summer 2017! This large campground is found in Little Elbow Provincial Recreation Area, about 35 km west of Bragg Creek along Hwy. 66 (closed Dec.1 to May 15 annually). The campground is well-treed with well-spaced sites. There over 60 sites suitable for RVs or tents, and about 30 walk-in tenting sites.
