Wildhorse Lake Campground, Wildhorse Lake Provincial Recreation Area

This scenic campground is found in Wildhorse Lake Provincial Recreation Area, about 25 km southwest of Hinton off Hwy. 16. Enjoy fishing this small mountain lake in a non-motorized or electric powered boat. There are 19 drive up sites and 3 walk in tenting sites.<br>Water is available from a hand pump at this site. Although Alberta Parks strives to maintain water quality, we recommend that you bring your own drinking water.

Willey West Campground, Eagle Point Provincial Park

Drayton Valley

Willey West Campground is found in Eagle Point Provincial Park, 6 km east of Drayton Valley, just off the Cowboy Trail (Hwy. 22). There are over 90 sites, including power, sewer and unserviced options. Located along the North Saskatchewan River, there are opportunities for canoeing, fishing and swimming. Amenities include a boat launch, playground, showers and a campground store.<br>ATVs are not allowed in the campground.  ATV trails are located a 20-minute drive west. William Watson Lodge provides year-round, barrier-free, wilderness lodging for persons with disabilities, seniors and their families. Its situated in beautiful Peter Lougheed Provincial Park, overlooking Lower Kananaskis Lake. The goal of this facility is to connect people of all abilities, all ages and all cultures to recreational opportunities in nature. William Watson Lodge is named after an Albertan who worked to improve the social and environmental conditions for persons with disabilities.
 

Directions: William Watson Lodge Campground is in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park, 50 km south of Hwy. 1 on Hwy. 40 and south on Hwy. 742 (Kananaskis Lakes Trail).

Williamson Campground is found on the south shore of Sturgeon Lake in Williamson Provincial Park, 17 km west of Valleyview on Hwy. 43 and 2 km north on an access road. There are multiple options for camping, including pull-through, unserviced and powered sites nestled in the trees. Here you can go sailing, wind surfing, fishing or canoeing. This campground is found in Winagami Lake Provincial Park, 20 km north of High Prairie on Hwy. 749, 10 km west on Hwy. 679 and 7 km north on an access road. It has over 60 treed sites suitable for both tents and RVs, with both unserviced and powered options. Enjoy amenities like the playground, wading pool and showers, or relax on the sandy beach. Windy Point Campground is in Oldman Dam Provincial Recreation Area, 13 km north of Pincher Creek on Hwy. 785. Open sites along the shores of the Oldman River Reservoir are suited to RVs. A boat launch and pier make it a good choice for campers wanting easy access to the water. This is a popular spot for all kinds of water sports. Constant breezes make it an ideal place for sailing and wind surfing.<br>All campsites are first come-first served.  Self-registration is in effect with camping fees paid by cash or personal cheque only.Campfires are prohibited.

This campground is found in Wolf Lake West Provincial Recreation Area, 24 km east of Edson on Hwy. 16 and 53 km south on Wolf Lake Road. There are over 35 sites which are well-spaced and surrounded by forest. Many of the sites have lake views.
