This pleasant campground is found in Dunvegan Provincial Park, 21 km southwest of Fairview on Hwy. 2. Camp in the lush parkland of the Peace River valley. Well-spaced sites are nestled in the forest near the river for a relaxing atmosphere. Explore the historic site, wander riverside trails, take a canoe on the river or go fishing.<br>For self-registration sites in this campground, payment can be made by cash or personal cheque (payable to “Government of Alberta”). Credit cards are NOT accepted as payment.

This rustic riverside campground is in Dutch Creek Provincial Recreation Area, 30 km north of Crowsnest on Forestry Trunk Road. There are over 40 sites which are suitable for RVs and tents. Pine and spruce trees provide some shelter and privacy, and many sites back onto the Old Man River. There are beautiful views and lots of wildlife in this area. Registered campers may offload OHVs and travel to nearby trails from their campsites.<br>Opening dates are subject to weather conditions. Campsites are first come-first served. Elbow Lake Backcountry Campground is in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park, 75 km south of Hwy. 1 on Hwy. 40. The closest access is at Elbow Pass Day Use Area. It is 1.3 km from the trailhead via Elbow Lake Trail. There are around 15 tenting pads in the forest along the emerald green lake. Here there are firepits and firewood, pit/vault toilets, and secure food storage lockers.
