The park is off the beaten path, but once you find it, you`ll be rewarded with a chain of 5 small lakes and about 7 km of trails to explore. Located on the Southwest side of the Hamlet of Enchant on highway 526, Enchant Municipal Park offers 102 sites, 15 and 30 amp. Individual sites are first-come, first-served. This campground is located in Fairfax Lake Provincial Recreation Area, 50 km southeast of Robb on Hwy. 40. It has 27 spacious and private sites near the shores of Fairfax Lake. It is ideal for fishing and canoeing on the lake, and hiking trails are available in the surrounding area. Fallen Timber North Campground is found in Fallen Timber Provincial Recreation Area, 25 km northwest of Sundre off Hwy. 22. There are more than 30 sites, including a few by the riverside. Located in scenic foothills, it is a good base camp for nearby canoeing, fishing or OHV riding. Please keep OHVs on trailers in the recreation area.<br>Water is available from a hand pump at this site. Fallen Timber South Campground is located in Fallen Timber South Provincial Recreation Area, 13 km west of Cochrane on Hwy. 1A and 52 km north on Hwy. 40. A good base camp in the foothills for nearby hiking and OHV trails. Registered campers may off-load OHVs and travel to trails from their campsites.<br>Opening date subject to snow levels.
