Simonette River Campground, Simonette River Provincial Recreation Area
Grande Prairie
This scenic riverside campground is in Simonette River Provincial Recreation Area, 45 km east of Grande Prairie and 10 km south of Hwy. 43 on an access road. There is easy river access from the campground. It is a nice place to fish, swim, or float on the river.<br>This is a self-registration campground. Payment can be made by cash or personal cheque (payable to “Government of Alberta”). Credit cards are NOT accepted as payment.





Sir Winston Churchill Campground, Sir Winston Churchill Provincial Park
Lac La Biche
Sir Winston Churchill Campsite is located in Sir Winston Churchill Provincial , located 5km east of Lac La Biche on Hwy. 881, and 2 km north on Provincial Park Rd. With year-round cabins the islands of this park are open to be explored summer and winter. Rentals of canoes, kayaks, and stand up paddleboards are available to discover the waters of Lac la Biche. Trails throughout the Old Growth Forest allows campers to hike and bike to all the sandy beaches.<br>Campsites are nestled among old-growth mixedwood forests.











Smoke Lake Campground, Smoke Lake Provincial Recreation Area
Fox Creek
Smoke Lake Campground is found in Smoke Lake Provincial Recreation Area, 9 km southwest of Fox Creek off Hwy. 43. There are over 45 sites suitable for both RVs and tents, with some trees for privacy. Activities include boating and fishing.<br>A discount for seniors 60 years and older is available.

Water from the pump/tap onsite can only be used for purposes like putting out a campfire. Capacity is based on 30-foot units, including tow vehicle. Firewood is not available for purchase on-site. Visitors can bring their own firewood or purchase wood from: Spruce View Co-op Hwy. 54 (open Monday-Saturday 7:00 am to 9:00 pm, Sunday 9:00 am to 9:00 pm) or Innisfail

South Dyke Campground offers spacious sites that are suitable for RVs and tents and have some shelter from mixed forest surrounding the campground. Here you can hike, mountain bike, swim or relax on the beach. Go sailing, wind surfing, canoeing, boating, or fishing on the large reservoir.<br>Firewood is not available for purchase on-site. Visitors can bring their own firewood or purchase wood from: Spruce View Co-op Hwy. 54 (open Monday-Saturday 7:00 am to 9:00 pm, Sunday 9:00 am to 9:00 pm) or Innisfail FasGas (open 24/7). Spray Lakes West Campground is found in Spray Valley Provincial Park, 16 km south of Canmore on the Smith Dorrien/Spray Lakes Trail (Hwy. 742). Once you visit this peaceful campground on the shores of the Spray Lakes Reservoir, you may never want to leave! There are sites suitable for both RVs and tents, many of which are very close to the lake.
