Dickson Point Campground offers large, open sites that are well suited to RVs and have close access to the water. Here you can hike, mountain bike, swim or just relax by the water. Go sailing, wind surfing, canoeing, boating, or fishing in a rainbow trout pond.<br>Firewood is not available for purchase on-site. Visitors can bring their own firewood or purchase wood from: Spruce View Co-op Hwy. 54 (open Monday-Saturday 7:00 am to 9:00 pm, Sunday 9:00 am to 9:00 pm) or Innisfail FasGas (open 24/7). You can also call 403-896-4597 (local firewood sales) to arrange wood pick-up.You are expected to












Dinosaur Campground, Dinosaur Provincial Park

Dinosaur Campground is in Dinosaur Provincial Park, 48 km northeast of Brooks off Hwy. 876. There are over 120 RV and tent-friendly sites, including unserviced, powered and pull-through options. The campground is nestled in a valley by the Red Deer River and shaded by cotton-wood trees. Many sites back onto a creek. Explore the beautiful, unique landscape on foot, take a guided tour and look for dinosaur bones, or enjoy a show at the amphitheatre. Whatever you like to do, camping in the badlands is an unforgettable experience.<br>Summer rates are in effect from early May until early October.

This pleasant campground is found in Dunvegan Provincial Park, 21 km southwest of Fairview on Hwy. 2. Camp in the lush parkland of the Peace River valley. Well-spaced sites are nestled in the forest near the river for a relaxing atmosphere. Explore the historic site, wander riverside trails, take a canoe on the river or go fishing.<br>For self-registration sites in this campground, payment can be made by cash or personal cheque (payable to “Government of Alberta”). Credit cards are NOT accepted as payment.

This rustic riverside campground is in Dutch Creek Provincial Recreation Area, 30 km north of Crowsnest on Forestry Trunk Road. There are over 40 sites which are suitable for RVs and tents. Pine and spruce trees provide some shelter and privacy, and many sites back onto the Old Man River. There are beautiful views and lots of wildlife in this area. Registered campers may offload OHVs and travel to nearby trails from their campsites.<br>Opening dates are subject to weather conditions. Campsites are first come-first served. Self-registration is in effect with camping fees paid by cash or persona

Well-spaced sites are nestled amongst pine and spruce. Surrounded by Rocky Mountains, you can access the Eau Claire Interpretive trail, various unmaintained trails or try fishing in the Kananaskis River.<br>Food lockers available for cyclists.
