Cooking Lake/Blackfoot and Kananaskis are known for their extensive cross country skiing trails. Downhill skiers will enjoy the slopes at Cypress Hills Provincial Park and at Nakiska in Kananaskis Country. Limited winter camping services are available at some parks and lake access for ice fishing is also provided at many locations.
