Don’t move firewood!
Moving firewood can spread invasive species through Canada's forests. Something as simple as bringing your own firewood from a different campsite could threaten and destroy thousands, even millions, of trees.
You can protect Canada's forests by:
•Not moving firewood.
•Burning local firewood only.
•Learning where the firewood comes from.
•Finding out if you are living in or travelling to an area regulated for an invasive pest.
•Leaving natural items in their natural habitats.
