Pigeon Lake Campground, Pigeon Lake Provincial Park

This large campground boasts spacious sites surrounded by mixed forest that are suited to tents and RVs. There are unserviced, power, and power/water/sewer options, as well as a few sites with lake views. There are many amenities here including showers, flush toilets, boat launch and playground. Enjoy beach and water activities and hike or bike on shady forested trails. If you prefer not to rough it, check out the comfort camping sites where you can stay in a fully furnished yurt.<br>Coin-operated showers cost $1.00. WINTER: Some winterized sites in Loop A (a minimum of 6) are open year-round.

<br>Pine Bay group use area contains 10 walk-in tenting sites with tent pads; the site can also accommodate up to 8 RVs in the upper parking lot. 2 night minimum reservation is required for Friday & Saturday nights. A $50.00 key deposit is required to be paid at the Gregg Lake Campground Booth at check in, and will be returned at checkout. Discounts are available for youth groups only. Pinehurst Lake Campground, Lakeland Provincial Recreation Area

Pinehurst Lake Campground is located in Lakeland Provincial Recreation Area, 17 km south of Lac La Biche on Hwy. 36, 5km east on Hwy. 55, 3km north on Range Rd. 132, 19 km east on Township Rd. 652, and  7km north on access road. Point Backcountry Camping, Peter Lougheed Provincial Park

Point Backcountry Campground is in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park, 50 km south of Hwy. 1 on Hwy 40 and south on Kananaskis Lakes Trail. The closest access is at North Interlakes Day Use. It is 3.4 km from the trailhead via Upper Kananaskis Lake Circuit. It can also be accessed by boat, but there are no docking or mooring facilities so light watercraft can be pulled up on shore. Enjoy beautiful lake and mountain views at this scenic site. Tent sites are scattered amongst the forest at the lake`s edge. There are firepits and firewood, pit/vault toilets, and secure food storage lockers here.

Well-spaced sites are suitable for tents and RVs and natural poplar forest provides privacy. Relax and spend lazy days fishing from your boat, canoe or shore. Prairie Creek Campground is found in Prairie Creek Provincial Recreation Area, 41 km southwest of Rocky Mountain House on Hwy. 752. A good fishing creek runs through the campground. There are about 50 well treed sites, with a few next to the creek.<br>This is an unserviced campground. Queen Elizabeth Campground is found along the shores of Lac Cardinal, in Queen Elizabeth Provincial Park. It is 3 km north and 5 km west of Grimshaw off Hwy. 35. There are over 50 campsites tucked into the forest along the lakeside, including some with power. Enjoy the beach, swimming, and boating activities. Take a hike or go mountain biking along shady boreal forest trails. The shallow lake is also a great place for birdwatching.<br>Eighteen of the power sites have 20 amp breakers; 20 of the power sites have 15 amp breakers. This is a self-registration campground. Camp in the southern Rockies in Racehorse Provincial Recreation Area, 25 km north of Crowsnest on Forestry Trunk Road. Sites are suitable for RVs and tents and are surrounded by open pine forest. Racehorse Creek runs alonside the campground. Go fishing in the creek or hiking on informal trails.
